  Bullet pointed status update of the past month or so:

-Turned in 2 weeks notice at both jobs (Panera and Barnes & Noble), last day of availability is the 31st, because I like the idea of starting the new year unemployed.
-I have an assistantship waiting for me at ECU in the spring semester, so yay! I'll be working in the writing studio as a tutor, which should be exciting.
-I have two not quite dates in the next week, which is super exciting, because they're actual dates and not just "hey, let's hang out and probably make out." They're with two very nice boys, one of which I haven't actually met yet. I'm excited.
-My housing plans for this next semester fell through, due to a not quite friend's flakiness, so I'm in the process of apartment hunting less than a month before I'm moving down. Luckily, I have lots of friends and lots of couches to crash on in town.
-Got A's in both my online classes, a wonderful pleasant surprise. My final project in my bibliography and methods class was a mock thesis outline, and I used the topic I want to use for my real thesis (parallel novels, which I love anyways) and my adviser loved it and said he can't wait for me to start on it for real. I am SO EXCITED.

Christmas cards are going to be sent eventually, for everyone who gave me an address ever. They won't get there by Christmas, unless I totally start kicking ass, but still.
